                              REGISTRATION
You are most welcome to St. James Parish. You may register by contacting the Parish Office during working hours. If you are not registered presently, we cannot provide you with testimonial letters in connection with sponsorship for the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation or Matrimony. If you are moving from the Parish, please notify the Parish Office.

                                  BAPTISM
The Sacrament of Baptism is for the children of registered parishioners and takes place every Sunday at 1:00 PM, except the fourth Sunday of the month when it is part of the 12 Noon Mass. Instruction class is required for parents. The class is held every month at 8:00 PM in the High School Meeting Room. Arrangements must be made through the Parish Office at least one month in advance.

                                 MARRIAGE
According to Diocesan regulations, arrangements should be made one year prior to the marriage by personal appointment with a priest. Please contact the Parish Office for an appointment.

                           CARE OF THE SICK
Please notify the Parish Office when you or a member of your family is in the hospital. We would also like to be notified if you or someone in your family is unable to attend Mass and needs to receive Holy Communion.

    RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA)
The RCIA is a process of prayer, study and spiritual formation which prepares adults for their possible entrance into the Church. Any adult who is interested in learning about the fullness of Christ present in the Catholic Church is invited to call the Rectory Office at 732-741-0500.

                  RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM
Classes for grades K to 7 meet on Sunday mornings from 9:15 AM to 10:30 AM, Eighth Grade from 8:15 AM - 9:15 AM until Confirmation. Please call the Religious Education Office for registration information at 732-747-6006.
